Welcome to the Cappoquin Salmon and Trout Anglers Association's website. Cappoquin is a quiet town in county Waterford, Ireland and is only a few miles from the famous Lismore castle. If you intend coming to Ireland on vacation or a short weekend break why not join us for an unforgettable Salmon fishing experience on the river Blackwater, Ireland's most prolific Salmon river. We welcome all and have facilities to aid the disabled angler, with a wheelyboat available to those confined to a wheelchair. Fishing equipment is available locally, and license and day tickets can usually be purchased on the day. Catching your first Wild Atlantic Salmon in Ireland will never be forgotten.  Hotels and Bed & Breakfast accomodation is available locally and ghillies can be organised when needed.
